MassDOT issued an alert that some roads were slick at 6 a.m. and being treated. By daybreak Saturday temperatures will warm above freezing but a few isolated pockets of freezing rain may persist as Saturday begins.The system will end as a brief period of wet snow before ending completely Saturday afternoon.
