Regulators Approve Framingham Marijuana Testing Lab

Two labs were approved by the Cannabis Commission.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—A Framingham lab that inspects non-medical marijuana just got the green light by regulators last Thursday, according to reports.

MCA Labs, located on Speen Street in Framingham, is one of two labs that received approval from the Cannabis Control Commission at its last meeting, reports the Worcester Business Journal.

Any retail marijuana sold in the state must first be tested by an independent lab. CDX Analytics in Salem also received approval as an independent testing lab. MCR Labs, which tests the Department of Mental Health's medical marijuana, was approved in a 4-1 vote for recreational marijuana testing.
