See Art, Make Art and Buy An Original for $200

Fountain Street Fine Arts will hold a reception for its 12X12 group show tonight, April 27 from 5-7 in conjunction with Fountain Street Open Studios Weekend.

This weekend the gallery is holding a "See ART/Make ART" event in conjunction with the Fountain Street Open Studios Weekend.

The event is FREE and open to the public. Visitors are invited to create their own small artwork (all materials provided) to hang in the gallery while they visit the studios in the building, and to take away with them at the end of the day. The event is supported in part by the Local Cultural Councils of Framingham, Natick, and Weston.

Fountain Street Fine Art is currently showcasing 12x12, a group show through May 6. Local artists participating include Scout Austin, Lynne Damianos, Nan Hass Feldman, Martha Little Fuentes, Lisa Breslow Thompson, and Felicia Tuttle. In this show each 12"X12" art is available for purchase for $200. There is a reception tonight from 5-7.

A concurrent show of 6”x6” works on paper by students from  also will be on display. Located in downtown Framingham, the exploratory middle school serves eight Metrowest communities: Framingham, Natick, Ashland, Holliston, Sudbury, Southborough, Hopkinton, and Marlborough.
