Selectman Jason Smith Running For Charter Commission
Voters will decide if they wish to create a Charter Commission and elect 9 Commissioners on March 29.

Selectman Jason Smith is announcing his candidacy for Charter Commission.
Framingham voters will decide via ballot question on March 29, if they want to create a Charter Commission to study Framingham’s form of government.
Also on that ballot, Framingham voters will be asked to elect 9 Charter Commissioners.

“Our residents deserve an opportunity to have the form of government in Framingham reviewed,” said Smith.
“A yes vote on March 29 means that you agree that Framingham is a great place to live, learn, work, and play; and that you believe that this review can only make us a stronger community,” said Smith.

Smith was first elected to the Framingham Board of Selectmen in 2006. He was re-elected to a fourth term last year.
