SLIDESHOW: Flyers, Wildcats Scratch Out 6-6 Tie

The Framingham High girls ice hockey team had a 4-0 lead, but ended up with a tie Wednesday night at Loring Arena.

FRAMINGHAM - The Framingham High girls ice hockey team had a 4-0 lead against Milton High, but ended up with a 6-6 tie when the game ended Wednesday night at Loring Arena.

The Flyers are now 1-5-2 on the season.

Senior Krysta Nichols scored two goals in the tie. Other goal scorers were senior captain Molly Covarubias, Katie Puumala, Bailey Horne, and freshman Mia LaPlante.

The Flyers took a 40 lead to start the game, but it was tied 5-5 heading into the final period. The Flyers took the lead in the third with a goal by Nichols, but then the Wildcats tied it up again.

Framingham goalie Emma Lowry had 36 saves in the tie.
