Troop 72082 Camps on Cape Cod with 2,000-plus Girl Scouts
Framingham Girl Scout Troop 72082 joined 2,000-plus Girl Scouts from all over New England to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts.
Ten Scouts from Framingham Girl Scouts Troop 72082 participated in Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts' Camporee on Cape Cod to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts in June.
The Framingham Scouts, all fifth graders headed to middle school in the fall, camped at the Barnstable Fairgrounds in Falmouth with 2,008 other Scouts and leaders, from Massachusetts and New England.
The girls participated in arts and crafts, drumming, theatre, archery and other workshops at the weekend event.

Led by leaders Shawn Granoff, Pam O'Callaghan and Susan Petroni, the Scouts learned to pitch their own tents. They camped out in inclement weather including, downpours, sustained winds of 20-25 miles per hour and wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour.
Junior Scouts who participate were Sydney Aivazian, Talia Muller, Rebecca Weisman, Maddie Nalon, Ella Petroni, Sarah Granoff, Alyssa Tunno, Emily Shotten, Kelly O'Callaghan and Lizabeth Davis.
