UPDATED: Who Has Pulled Papers to Run For Charter Commissioner?

The deadline to submit a 100 signatures of registered voters to appear on the ballot for Charter Commissioner is Feb. 9.

Also in March, voters will elect nine commissioners, who will study forms of government and make recommendations to voters on possible changes to Framingham’s Town form of government, just in case the Commission question passes.

If a resident, who is a registered voter, would like to run as a Charter Commissioner, they must submit 100 signatures of registered voters to the Framingham Town Clerk’s office by Feb. 9.

As of the Christmas break, the following individuals have pulled papers to run for a seat on the Charter Commission:

  • Richard Weader
  • Cheryl Gordon
  • John Kahn
  • Gloria Geller

  • Laura Medrano
  • Deborah Butler
  • Doug Freeman
  • Michael Rossi
  • Robert Merusi
  • Lloyd Kaye
  • Jim Pillsbury
  • Linda Dunbrack
  • Dennis Giombetti
  • Steven Clark
  • Dennis Cardiff
  • Janet Leombruno

None will officially appear on the ballot until the Town Clerk’s office has verified the 100 signatures submitted.
