Winter's Coming: Just 2 Construction Projects This Week

Framingham Department of Public Works issued its weekly update on road construction in town and where to expect delays and detours.

And with just two projects on the list, it appears to be a sure sign winter is on its way.

NEW: Concord Street between School Street and the northern intersection of “A” Street:  It is anticipated that trench/roadway restoration activities will begin on Concord Street between School Street and the northern intersection of “A” Street in early December.  Construction activities will be in progress between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.  Traffic through the work zone will be reduced to a one lane alternating traffic management plan between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. – Expect delays while travelling in this area. Eaton Road/Eisenhower Road: Roadway/trench restoration activities will be underway on Eaton Road, Eisenhower Road and Nob Hill Drive.  While construction is in progress, traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan.  Construction activities are scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. (Click Here For Map)
