WhiskeyTalk is a hard driving acoustic 4 piece out of Gloucester, MA featuring Paul Howard, Doug Turnbull, Jim Kuhns, and Carl Gasowski. All veterans of Boston area bands, each brings his own unique musical baggage along on a somewhat meandering and genre-bending cross country drive that picks up dialects from Rock and Roll, Country, Americana, Bluegrass, Irish, Punk, Maritime, and others.

Carlos Menezes Jr’s BrassFed Nation is a horn-driven groove machine with a unique sound incorporating the styles and traditions of early Jazz, New Orleans Funk &amp; Soul, Rhythm &amp; Blues, Calypso, and Jamaican Ska! Founded in 2013, The BrassFed Nation is dedicated to the advancement of horn-driven music through exposure and outreach in both education and local musical culture! The collective features 3 unique ensembles; Cape Ann Big Band, The Jambalaya Horns, and The 13-Piece DubTone Orchestra - all striving to inspire and connect musicians of all ages through performances, private studio lessons, workshops, and interactive clinics. ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE: Paying homage to the infectious beats and sounds of New Orleans, the BrassFed Orchestra will cue the “Big Four'' and transport audience members to the streets of the Crescent City for a Holiday Celebration that is full of surprises! This year’s program will showcase members of The Jambalaya Horns and feature a number of guest instrumentalists from the New England music scene! Featured Vocalists are Henri Smith of New Orleans, Sadie Cook, Scarlett Berge, and Alessandro Schoc.

A former assistant district attorney turned criminal-defense attorney, Paul traded the courtroom for the comedy stage, where he has been making audiences laugh until their sides ache! Paul has been headlining A-List comedy clubs around the country for over thirty-five years, entertaining hundreds of prominent corporate clients and opening for over sixty international stars such as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, The Beach Boys, Chicago, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, and George Carlin. He co-starred in the popular Showtime movie, The Godfathers of Comedy, and is also the author of six hilarious books that have won numerous literary awards.

Paul D’Angelo’s 11th Annual New Year’s Eve Comedy Show

When you mention the word “Reggae”, there are certain names that immediately spring to mind like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Third World to name a few, but another artist that is firmly on the tip of people’s tongues is Luciano. Born on the paradise island of Jamaica, as a youth he was heavily influenced and drawn to Bob Marley’s positive “One Love Movement”. As he got older and embarked on his own professional singing career, Luciano himself began to influence the lives of others around the world with his own spiritual interpretation of the movement. Since then, he has reigned as the “King Of Conscious Reggae Music” and is now one of the most iconic figures representing roots reggae today. Luciano entered the reggae industry in the early 90’s and eventually teamed up with Phillip ‘Fattis’ Burrell, one of the few producers around at the time that supported conscious roots music. The quality material produced by this partnership, coupled with the fact that by now Luciano’s style and vibe was so heavily influenced by Bob Marley, caught the attention of Chris Blackwell of Island Records. Chris eventually signed Luciano and the collaboration produced a string of #1 hits including an album that was voted amongst the top 30 reggae albums of all time by Mojo magazine.
