Shelter provided a break for people without power and water.

The Grafton emergency shelter provided refuge to three adults and nine children during the storm.

With the shelter now closed, Garabedian praised her “excellent group of people’’ who volunteered through the day.
Fifteen volunteers helped ensure that the shelter ran smoothly, she said.
