300 Fans Made Quite an Impression

Our Facebook numbers drew big numbers.

Here at Grafton Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the week. We'll also point you to pages you may not have known about before.

How about 325 by next week?

And, fittingly enough, the Grafton Patch Facebook post that got the most impressions this week was our post announcing that we reached 300 fans. More than 800 of you _ 811, to be exact _ checked that out.

The next most popular posting was far more solemn: Our coverage of the moving Sept. 11 anniversary tribute at the . That post drew 767 impressions and, we suspect, a few lumps in people’s throats.

Way to go, Chief Mickey Gauthier and everyone at the Police and Fire departments for a simple but stirring ceremony.

We also got more than 600 impressions on our post comparing the Cumberland Farms fire suppression system release to a winter wonderland. Indeed, with the fine substance covering the cars and ground, it seemed like time had stood still.

On to another week. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook.com/Grafton Patch and on Twitter. Our handle is GraftonPatch.
