3. You’ll get a charge out of this one: National Grid is installing more than 30 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout the Commonwealth under Coulomb Technologies' "Charge America" program. 4. According to Mass.gov, there are close to 600 websites available to Massachusetts residents offering free state and federal tax preparation service to low- and moderate-income tax filers as well as those 60 and older. AARP sites can be found here; IRS Volunteer Tax Information Assistance sites here. Both programs will assist with filing for the federal Earned Income Tax Credit, and the state's Senior Circuit Breaker Tax Credit.

5. According to the American Cancer Society, snow, ice and water can all reflect the ultraviolet radiation that causes sunburn. For that reason, the group recommends wearing a sunscreen, lip balm and makeup with an SPF of 15 or higher, even in the winter.
