Absentee Ballots Available For State Primary Election In Grafton

Voters can apply before Friday, Aug. 31.

GRAFTON, MA—Want to vote in the primary but you can't make it to the polls for some reason? Make sure you get an absentee ballot.

State law allows registered voters to vote by absentee ballot if they are absent from town during normal polling hours, physically disabled preventing the voter from going to the polling place or unable to come to the polls due to a religious belief.

Voters who qualify due to one of the above reasons can apply for an absentee ballot for the Sept. 4 State Primary Election no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31. Applications are available at the Town Clerk's Office, Municipal Center, 30 Providence Road, during regular office hours or you can download an application.
