
It’s official: Three contested races will be on the ballot for the spring election.
 The 5 p.m. March 27 deadline for returning papers has passed so the ballot is now firmed up.

Board of Selectmen, one three-year term available: Brook Padgett (incumbent) and Bruce Spinney.
School Committee, two three-year terms available: Peter R. Carlson (incumbent), Kathleen Halloran (incumbent) and Margaret McDonald.

Planning Board, two three-year terms available: Robert Hassinger (incumbent), Michael C. Scully and Robert Phillip Sims.
There is one uncontested race. Three candidates are in contention for the three open seats on the Board of Library Trustees. They are Douglas Bowman (incumbent), Diane Libbey (incumbent) and Carrie Hogan. Incumbent Judith Meichelbeck is not running for re-election.
