Conti Indicted on Arson Charges
The Grafton resident has been indicted by the Grand Jury regarding the Feb. 14 case.

Grafton resident Charles Conti, who is charged with setting a fire at a Worcester construction company in February, was indicted yesterday by the Grand Jury on charges related to the incident.
The Grand Jury handed up indictments on a charge of arson of personal property and two charges of malicious destruction of a motor vehicle, said Timothy J. Connolly, spokesman for Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early.
Conti, 63, of 7 Airport Rd., North Grafton, will be arraigned at a later date in Worcester Superior Court, Connolly said.

The indictments are in connection with a fire Feb. 14 at A. F. Amorello & Sons construction company at 115 Southwest Cutoff in Worcester.
Conti is charged with setting fire to two trucks at the construction site. More than $250 worth of damage was reported to the contents of one of the trucks, according to court documents.

Conti is being held on $100,000 bail. One reason for the bail request was his record of convictions, according to court documents.
He has been involved in 67 court cases dating back to 1967, according to court documents. Not all of the cases resulted in convictions.
Charges through the years included burning, malicious destruction of property, resisting arrest and failure to obey a police officer, according to the documents.
