Diagnosis Hit Hard, Spirit Stayed Strong

As friends reminisce about Seshu Kandukuri, one theme resonates: He maintained an unwavering positive spirit while fighting the cancer that took his life yesterday.

In this NECN video from last summer, he spoke of the devastating diagnosis, his initial fears about the road ahead and the support he received from the staff and fellow patients at Dana-Farber.

He said he learned that, with that support, you can have "the best time of your life'' even while going through treatment.
