Eight Seats To Be Decided in May Election

Nomination papers are now available for eight posts up for election in May..

Two candidates have taken out papers for the one, three-year term for selectman: Incumbent Brook Padgett, 23 North St., and Bruce W. Spinney III, 19 Brielle Road.

Spinney ran unsuccessfully for selectman in last year’s election.

Other candidates whose seats are up for re-election include:

School Committee, two, three-year terms: Peter Carlson, 11 Grist Mill Rd. and Kathleen C. Halloran, 14 South St.

Planning Board, two, three-year terms: Robert Hassinger, 48 George Hill Rd. and Bruce W. Spinney III, 19 Brielle Road.

Public Library Trustees, three, three-year terms: Douglas S. Bowman, 32 Elliot Trail, Diane Libbey, 44 George Hill Rd. and Judith Meichelbeck, 44 Fay Mountain Rd.
