First Grader Takes Over NGES for Day

Bryan Romeo enjoyed some of principal Brenda Plainte's duties.

There was a new principal at last week _ and he hadn’t yet graduated from first grade.

First grader Bryan Romeo, who was the winner of the “Principal of the Day at NGES” raffle at the Harlem Wizards game, was Principal for the Day Wednesday, March 21.

He had the opportunity to share in “principal” duties such as morning arrival, announcements, eating lunch with Students of the Week, recess duty and dismissal.
