Five Things to Know Today: March 1

A new month begins and spring beckons ever closer.

Here are five things to know today.

1. Selectmen meet at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Center, 30 Providence Road.

2. Walk in the gym at 8:30 a.m. at the Grafton Senior Center, 24 Providence Road.

3. Story times for youngsters ages 2 and 3 will be offered at 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Grafton Public Library, 35 Grafton Common.

4. March is said to come in like a lion, but we can only hope for a lamb-like ending. Because even the road has had it with the snow.

5. Weather forecast: Sunny, with high of 38 and low of 24.
