Four in Running for Selectmen with a Week to Go
Candidates have one more week to return papers.

With a week to go before nomination papers must be submitted to the Town Clerk's office, four candidates are in the running for two open selectman's seats.
The four candidates are: Robert W. Lewis, John L. Carlson, Bruce W. Spinney III and John B. Dowling III.
They are vying for the two open seats now held by Mary Ann Cotton and Christopher LeMay. Neither is running for re-election.Â

Raymond E. Mead has taken out papers for Town Moderator, a three-year position currently held by Roger Trahan Jr.
Donna K. Stock has taken out papers for another, three-year term on the School Committee. Hers is the only school board seat open this year.

Two candidates have taken out nomination papers so far for Planning Board. David Robbins is seeking the two-year term he was appointed to that filled a vacancy.
James H. Walsh III is seeking the three-year seat currently held by Heath Christensen.
Charles A. Villee and Holly Walton are vying for the three-year seat they currently hold on the Board of Library Trustees. Doug Bowman is seeking the one-year term he was appointed to to fill a vacancy.
James J. Gallagher has taken out papers for the five-year seat on the Housing Authority. Faith Margaret Muello is vying for the two-year seat.

Nomination papers signed by 50 voters are due in the Town Clerk's office by 5 p.m. March 14.
