Garden Club Members Dig Their Work

Plants are transplanted to prepare for the annual plant sale.

Members of the Grafton Garden Club aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

They proved that Saturday by digging into the soil and planting seedlings into pots at Mapel Plants and Nursery on Brigham Hill Road. They were preparing for their annual plant sale, to be held at the Common from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 19.

They jokingly called Saturday’s planning event “Plopping Plugs Into Pots.’’
