Former Grafton Man Gets Prison Time After Crash That Killed Two

A Grafton man has been sentenced to up to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to charges connected to a 2011 crash that killed two young men.

Robert J. Curran III, who was 22 in October 2011 when he drove between 80 and 100 miles an hour through Worcester and crashed into another vehicle, killing two teenagers, was sentenced Thursday, the Boston Globe reported.

. Another passenger, Jesus Molina, 19, was seriously injured.

Curran, whose address at the time of the crash was 33 Buttercup Ln., Grafton, listed his address in court records as 25 Mechanic St., Apt. B, Webster.

Police said Curran fled the scene of the crash while paramedics were tending to the victims; he was found later at an emergency room and said he had been in a bar fight.
