Grafton Memorial Day 2013 Parade Schedule

Grafton will host its annual Memorial Day parade and events today, Monday, May 27, which is the observation of Memorial Day.

The cemetery schedule is:

7:45 a.m.: Old Farnumsville Cemetery, Route 122, South Grafton

8 a.m.: Fairview Cemetery, Route 122, South Grafton

8:20 a.m.: Riverside Cemetery, Millbury Street, Grafton

8:30 a.m.: St. Philips Cemetery, Millbury Street, Grafton

8:50 a.m.: Old Indian Cemetery, Oak Street, Grafton

9:15 a.m.: Grafton State Hospital, North Grafton

9:30 a.m.: Pine Grove Cemetery, Route 30, North Grafton

Parade Schedule

9:45 a.m.: North Grafton, St. Mary's Church to Quinsigamond Corner, with stop at bridge

10:30 a.m.: South Grafton, Library to Soldiers Memorial

11:15 a.m.: Grafton Center, Norcross Park to the Common to Grafton High School via Oak Street

Noon: Flag raising at Grafton High School

The events are sponsored by the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, who extend a welcome to all veterans and members of patriotic organizations.

Cars can be parked at Grafton High School. Buses will leave at 9:15 a.m.
