Ringing of the bell, 5-5-5-5, which since 1870 has signified the death of a firefighter and the last alarm calling the firefighter home. On this day, the bells will toll to honor all those killed on Sept. 11.

Lowering of the flag to half-mast
One minute of silence
At 10:10 a.m., the chaplain will offer a prayer, followed by the firefighter prayer, police officer prayer and EMS prayer.
The bagpiper will play.
The bell will again ring, 5-5-5-5.
The flag will be raised.
The contingent will march to the , 1 South St., for a memorial service, followed by a coffee gathering at 11:30 a.m.
