Grafton Resident Needed on Planning Commission
Commission helps coordinate planning for central Massachusetts.

Grafton is looking for a resident to serve as one of the Planning Board’s appointed delegates to the Central Massachusetts Planning Commission. This is an appointed position with a term of one year.
 The Central Massachusetts Planning Commission is the designated regional planning entity for central Massachusetts, including Worcester and 39 surrounding communities.
 The commission collaborates with local, state, regional and federal officials, as well as legislators, to bring a regional perspective and coordinated approach to the region’s planning and development.

The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life for people who live and work in central Massachusetts.
Members must be registered voters and possess a basic understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the post.
