PHOTOS: GHS 'On Track' for September Opening
Although work remains, the contractors are pushing hard to meet the deadline, visitors are told.
The chairman of the Building Committee told visitors to the site Thursday that “everything is pretty much on track’’ for a scheduled September opening.
DiMeo Construction, which is overseeing the project, aims for substantial completion by June 1, Grafton High School Building Committee chairman Rich McCarthy said during a tour of the construction project.
They will then have a “punch list’’ of items remaining to be completed through the end of June.

The school district should get the keys to the building by July 1, although some construction staff will be on hand through the summer and even after the school opens, he said.
 “The contractors are pushing’’ hard to complete the project on time, he said. “They’re going to do it.’’
