Historical Museum Open Again Sundays

Museum was closed in July because of renovations.

Ty resumes its public open house museum hours starting Sunday, Aug. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Museum open house hours continue each Sunday afternoon during August.

The museum was closed during the month of July during renovations to One Grafton Common.

The Historical Society museum is currently featuring exhibits on Grafton’s role in the Civil War and the history of the railroad depot area of North Grafton. Experienced Historical Society guides are available each Sunday afternoon open house to answer questions.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to visit the museum now that the building renovations that affect us have been completed,'' Grafton Historical Society President Linda Casey said in a prepared statement.

The Grafton Historical Society office and museum are located in the lower level of the Grafton Town House.

The Historical Society is managed by a 12-member volunteer board of directors, along with a core of dedicated volunteers. Educational programs are held September through May.
