How Can Grafton Be Friendlier to Business?

The first two forums in the series were held Dec. 14 and Feb. 8.

The December meeting engaged real estate agents and lending institutions from the area to solicit information on what the town could do to improve business recruitment and remind those two key groups what incentives and opportunities are available to businesses seeking to operate in Grafton.
The February meeting solicited information from current business owners operating in town.

The information gathered from these meetings is being used to set the agenda for the culminating event in the series.
“The EDC has gathered great information on how we can continue to improve the business climate in Grafton,” Town Administrator Tim Mclnerney said in a prepared statement. “We will address the concerns that have been raised and discuss other initiatives that the Town is pursuing to improve economic conditions”
The event will include a panel discussion with town employees who are responsible for issuing permits and regulating business activities.
