Kids Will Love New Tennis Program

The new program teaches tennis basics to children in grades 1 and 2.

It's never too early to lift a racket and learn the basics of tennis.

The presents Worcester County Afterschool Tennis, a new program to be held Friday afternoons for children in grades 1 and 2.

Classes will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. May 18 and 25 and June 1.

The primary focus will be on basic stroke production. The students will learn the fundamentals of the forehand, backhand volley and serve with emphasis on correct grips and technique.

The goal is to make the game of tennis fun and challenging for all students.

Children should bring water and sneakers.
