Lake Sox Tryouts Scheduled

Season is tentatively schedule to begin June 1.

Tryouts for the Grafton Lake Sox 2011 baseball team will begin from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14 at Airport Field in North Grafton.

Players born between 1992 through 1995 are eligible to try out. All new players must bring an original (not a copy) birth certificate. Tryouts and practices will continue on Saturday and Sunday mornings leading up to the regular season.

The Grafton Lake Sox play in the Paul N. Johnson baseball league of Worcester.  The age-level and quality of play is comparable to legion baseball, but without the 7-day commitment that legion ball typically requires.
