Library Expansion to be Discussed

is hosting two public meetings to answer questions and provide information about the proposed expansion.

The first meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Community Barn, Wheeler Road. The second meeting is Sept. 25.

Town Meeting voters will decide in October whether to support expansion of the library.

The state has awarded the library more than $5 million for its expansion project, which would nearly quadruple the current space.

The project cost has been estimated at about $11 million.
