Life's a Beach With the Right Permit

Beach stickers are now available.

The town beach is tentatively scheduled to open June 17 and close Aug. 25,

The beach is open seven days a week, weather permitting, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Because parking is limited, only one registered vehicle per household is allowed at the site.

Beach permits are now available at the Grafton Recreation Department. They are also available at the beach when the season opens.

Permits for town residents are $50 per household, with a $25 replacement fee.

The fee for senior citizens older than 65 is $10, with only one permit allowed per address.

Non-residents pay $75 for a beach permits.

The daily pass fee is $5.

To obtain a permit you must bring a valid registration from the car you will be parking at Silver Lake.

Permits must be permanently affixed to the vehicle it is issued to and must be placed on the rear corner window of the driver’s side of the vehicle.
