Lind A Finalist for Bellingham Job

principal Richard Lind is one of two finalists for the principal's job at Bellingham Memorial Middle School.

UPDATED: A decision on the job will likely be made next week, when Lind and the other finalist interview with the current superintendent of schools, David Fischer, and the incoming superintendent of schools, Edward Fleury, Fleury said.

Lind will make a presentation and meet the public at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 26 at the auditorium at Bellingham Memorial Middle School.

The other contender for the post, William Tranter, will meet the public at 7:30 p.m.

The question-and-answer session will be led by Fleury, the current Bellingham High School principal, who was appointed as the town's new superintendent of schools, starting July 1. 

Lind did not immediately return a call for a comment.
