Man Held Hunters at Gunpoint, Police Say

A Grafton man has been charged with holding two hunters at gunpoint while claiming to be an Upton police officer.

Rocco Addeo, 51, of 120 Milford Rd., South Grafton, was arrested by and charged with armed kidnapping, impersonating a police officer and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Two men were hunting in the Milford Road area Dec. 30 when they were confronted by Addeo, according to court documents. He pointed a firearm at them, forced them to lay on the ground and held them at gunpoint, the men told police.

Addeo was arraigned today in Westborough District Court. His case was continued to Feb. 15.
