Members Wanted for New Library Board

This new committee will oversee work at the library.

The Town of Grafton is seeking four members at large to serve on a newly formed Planning and Building Committee.

This committee was formed at the October 2011 Special Town Meeting to oversee work to be done at the library. Although voters rejected the proposed expansion last month, some work is mandated at the library to bring the building to levels required by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The committee is authorized and directed to oversee to completion the renovation and expansion of the Grafton Public Library, including overseeing the payment of all charges incurred by the Town in the course of the project, with the final approval of the Board of Selectmen.
