
The fourth annual Grafton Lions Club Golf Tournament will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Blackstone National Golf Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the many local projects and charities that are supported by the Grafton Lions Club.
Non-golfers are encouraged to attend the awards dinner, which begins at 6:30 pm. Those attending the dinner will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and raffle. Items available include a baseball signed by Jason Veritek, Tivoli Audio radio, Celtics tickets, an autographed Patriots football, a foursome at Mt. Pleasant Country Club, tickets to a performance at the Hanover Theater, golf clubs, and a special Boston “Stay & Play” package (a two-night stay at Park Plaza Hotel and two tickets to watch the Celtics play).

There are also have numerous prizes and gift certificates from places such as the , , Blackstone Valley Cinema, and many more. The cost to attend the steak dinner is $25.
For golfers, Blackstone has returned to great shape. The day of golf will begin at 12:30 p.m. with lunch and registration. The Scramble format tournament will get underway at 1:30 p.m. with a shot-gun start and will conclude with a dinner, awards ceremony and silent auction.

Participants can register as a corporate sponsor, a foursome or as an individual golfer. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place teams and top women’s and men’s longest drive and closest to the pin.
For individual golfers, the $135 fee includes cart and green fees, lunch, dinner and awards ceremony.
Prior to the tournament, there will be an online auction for a pair of Red Sox playoff tickets. To participate in the auction, participants must be registered for the tournament (either golf or dinner).
