'Not Now' On Stage Tonight, Tomorrow, Sunday

Grafton High School presents a British farce.

will be presenting the laugh-out-loud British farce, "Not Now, Darling," Nov. 18, 19 and 20 at the Grafton High School auditorium.

This farce set box-office records in Paris, London and New York. This is the tale of two unlikely partners in a fur salon, Bodley the philanderer and Crouch the guileless innocent. Crouch struggles to keep the business successful despite his partner’s womanizing.

When Bodley tries to secure the affections of his latest would-be mistress by "selling" her husband an expensive mink coat at a reduced price, the stammering Couch must consummate the sale with a straight face. However, the husband decides the bargain coat is the perfect gift for his own mistress.

Written by Ray Cooney and John Chapman, the play is filled with suspicious spouses, mistaken identities, panicked reactions, and actors popping in and out of doors. 

Cast includes Rosemarie Legge (Miss Whittington), Rocco Praderio (Arnold Crouch), Merry Ryer (Miss Tipdale), Audrey Enman(Mrs. Frencham), Joe Morin (Gilbert Bodley), Teddy Kiritsy(Commander Frencham), Ben Davis (Harry McMichael), Emily Mooza (Janie McMichael), Noelle Scarlett (Sue Lawson), Megan Elsier(Maude Bodley) and Jake Sandakly (Charles Lawson).

The play is directed and produced by Meghan Patrick.

"Not Now, Darling'' will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at the auditorium of Grafton High School.

Tickets are available at the door. Tickets are $8 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. The play is "rated'' PG-13.
