Obituary: Albert J. Mangano

He was the owner of Mangano Company and leaves a wife and three children.

is survived by his dedicated and loving family: wife Marion (Gray) Mangano of 53 years; two daughters, Cherylann D'Amico and her husband David and Lorna Mangano; a son Albert Mangano, Jr.; and grandchildren Anthony and Cayla D'Amico all of Grafton; one brother Carl Mangano and three sisters, Mary Mangano, Dorothy Evangeline and Eleanor Falcone all of Worcester and several nieces and nephews.

Albert is predeceased by three brothers, Samuel, Anthony and William Mangano; and three sisters, Nancy Doucimo, Fanny Picard and Rose Kubic.

Albert was born in Worcester, son of the late Angelo and Grace (Gaccione) Mangano. He graduated from Commerce High School and raised his family in Grafton with his loving wife.

He owned and operated the former Mangano Company in Grafton for over 35 years before retiring. He was a U.S. National Guard veteran and a member of St. Philip Church. He was active with American Legion baseball and an avid sports fan enjoying the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. He took pride in cultivating his vegetable garden. Above all else, Albert valued and cherished the importance of his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers Albert's family requests that you honor his memory with memorial contributions to The Grafton Food Bank PO Box 324 Grafton MA 01519.

All are invited to calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday May 30 at , 152 Worcester St. N.Grafton MA 01536. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday May 31 at 12 West St. Grafton MA 01519. He will then be laid to rest at in Grafton.
