Rep.: Obama Case Raises 'Many Questions'
The state representative asks how he has a license and Social Security number.

The case of President Obama’s uncle, who is facing deportation and works in North Grafton, raises “so many questions,’’ State Rep. George Peterson said today.
“My concern is: How does an individual who is in this country illegally get a driver’s license and a Social Security number?’’ Peterson said. “How is he working?’’
He said he plans to send a letter Gov. Deval Patrick and Sen. Scott Brown expressing his concerns about the case.

Peterson spoke to state officials who confirmed that Obama has a valid Social Security number and driver’s license. “That’s another huge red flag,’’ Peterson said.
He said that poor communication may be at the root of the issue. He said that state agencies don’t communicate well enough with federal officials and that communication between federal agencies also needs improvement
Peterson is also trying to determine how Obama was able to be employed when he is not in the country legally.
Some have said that Obama believes his relationship with the president would make him vulnerable if he returns to his home country of Kenya. Even is this is the case, Peterson said, “I don’t think it gives him carte blanche.’’
“I want to get to the bottom of this,’’ Peterson said.
