Plants, History Blossom Saturday on Common
An array of events is scheduled, including the annual town-wide yard sale.

The Common will be the place to be Saturday, with plant sales, historic tours, story times, yard sales and information from the Grafton Land Trust.
The Grafton Garden Club’s annual plant sale and raffle will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m as part of Grafton Celebrates Agriculture Day.
In its 73rd year, the plant sale and raffle has become a Grafton tradition, with proceeds supporting scholarships and grants for Grafton residents.

The Garden Club has assembled a wide variety of annuals, hanging baskets, herbs and vegetables, as well as perennials to keep gardens in bloom from April through October. Experienced Garden Club gardeners are happy to answer your questions.
Recipes to use the bounty of backyard harvests and tips for growing plants will be featured this year. The raffle tables will be overflowing with items.

Children’s activities will also be featured, including free pony rides and a moonwalk. There will be a children’s table with lots of activities including face painting and seed planting courtesy of Girl Scout troops 30263 and 30186.
Amanda Diurba, children’s librarian, will be holding a story hour on the Common at 11 a.m.
will be cooking the barbecue lunch again this year. Boy Scout Pack 107 will be cooking up a batch of their chowder and selling popcorn. Garden Club bakers will have a variety of tasty treats at the bake table.
The Town Wide Yard Sale kicks off from Grafton Common as well. The Grafton Recreation Department is sponsoring yard sale tables on the Common and free maps will be available to direct participants to local homes that are hosting their own yard sales as part of the townwide effort.
The will also celebrate Grafton History Day that day. A costumed guide will conduct tours of historic Grafton Common beginning at 11 a.m.
They are also unveiling a new exhibit entitled “The South Grafton Mill Villages” at the Grafton Historical Society Museum, 1 Grafton Common, from 10 am. to 2 p.m.
The Grafton Land Trust will also be at the Common to showcase the role it plays in preserving and maintaining Grafton’s open spaces and promoting environmental education and stewardship.
