Poignant Subject Made an Impression

Here at Grafton Patch, we take social media pretty seriously.

The platform is one way we look to interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind.

Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the week. We'll also point you to pages you may not have known about before.

Currently, we have 278 followers on Facebook and 172 on Twitter. Let’s get those numbers rocking and bring them to 300 and 200 respectively by Sept. 1.

Highlights of the Week 

The Facebook post with this most impressions this week was the story about Grafton forming a suicide awareness group. A total of 673 impressions, one of our highest ever, looked at this story. It will be interesting to follow this group as it organizes and develops.

The next most popular was our quick post about tremors reported at Savers Bank and the Municipal Center as a result of the Virginia earthquake. A total of 538 impressions were received for that one. A follow-up with the State Police reporting no damage got 460 impressions.

On a lighter note, 523 impressions were registered for the photo and short piece about the dog wash at Tufts. Love that dirty water. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)
