Police DARE Students to Make Good Choices

They extended their congratulations _ and a reminder of lessons learned in their DARE classes.

“If it feels wrong, it probably is,’’ said Police Officer Robert Collette, who leads the DARE class along with Officer Michael Rybak. “Use your common sense.’’

Messages about coping with peer pressure, avoiding dangerous substances and taking positive approaches to life are part of the DARE core curriculum. The program, which stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education, runs for ten weeks.
