Police Log: More than 50 Storm Calls

Here are excerpts from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting. 

On Saturday, Oct. 29, police:

Responded to reports of erratic driving at 12:34 a.m. on Providence Road.

Received a report of a suspicious person at 1:17 a.m. on Worcester Street.

Received more than 30 storm-related calls later in the day, including reports of downed wires at Cheryl Drive, Main Street, Leland Hill Road, Stowe Road and Sartell Road, among others.

On Sunday, Oct. 30, police:

Had more than 20 storm-related calls, including reports of downed wires at North Street, Upton Street, Maxwell Drive and Willard Street, among others.
