Police Log: OUI, Stolen Vehicle Charges

The following information was supplied by the Grafton police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here are excerpts from the  log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting. 

On Thursday, Nov. 24, police:

Responded to an incident at 4:54 p.m. on Main Street.

As a result, charges will be brought against Nathaniel Russell, 22, of 24 Main St., South Grafton. He will be charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering, violation of a prevention order and wanton destruction of property less than $250.

On Friday, Nov. 25, police:

Responded to a report of a larceny/theft at 1:56 p.m. on Creeper Hill Road.

As a result, charges were brought against two men.

Steven W. Johnson, 46, of 17 Mechanic St., Spencer, was charged with removing/altering a motor vehicle identification number and removing a motor vehicle to defraud.

Daniel F. Sheehan Jr., 56, of 49 Orne St. Apt. 1, Worcester, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property over $250, receiving a stolen motor vehicle and removing a motor vehicle to defraud.

On Saturday, Nov. 26, police:

Responded to a suspicious auto at 1:05 a.m. on Westboro Road and Morgan Drive.

As a result, David A. Barksdale, 48, of 14 Morgan Drive, Grafton, was charged with OUI liquor.
