Police Seek Alleged Bank Robber In Grafton

Police are looking to the public to locate the man in these photos, who allegedly robbed Citizens Bank.

GRAFTON, MA—Police are looking to the public to assist in located a man who allegedly robbed a bank in Grafton on Friday afternoon.

Around 3:29 p.m. on May 25, Grafton police responded to Citizens Bank inside the Stop & Shop at 100 Worcester St. for a report of a robbery.

A bank teller told police that she was approached by a white male wearing a New England Patriots cap, sunglasses and a Patriots sweatshirt with no sleeves. He allegedly handed the teller a note demanding money, the teller handing over the cash. According to police, he then left the store and to the parking lot. No weapon was shown and no injuries were reported.

Grafton officers searched the entire area with the assistance of patrol and K-9 units from the MA State Police, Millbury Police and Marlborough Police Departments. A general broadcast was also issued to all surrounding communities.
Surveillance video from the store and area businesses is still being examined and the investigation is ongoing.
