POLL: What Do You Think About Halloween Date Change?
Town seems mixed on the decision to move Halloween to Saturday.

Based on comments to our Facebook page, the town is split on the decision made by selectmen last night to move Halloween to Saturday, Nov. 5 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Selectman chairman Peter Adams said he was initially reluctant to move Halloween because "holidays shouldn't be controlled by the government,'' but changed his mind after getting feedback.
On Halloween itself, although the chief strongly recommended that people stay indoors, the town did not officially cancel festivities.
