President's Uncle May Drive to Grafton Job

He was granted a hardship license to drive to Five Star Liquors.

President Obama’s uncle, Onyango Obama, was granted a hardship license today that allows him to work at two jobs, including one as a manager at in Grafton, the Registry of Motor Vehicles announced today.

In a statement today, Registry of Motor Vehicles spokeswoman Sara Lavoie said Obama appeared before RMV officials Monday and asked to be given a hardship license, the news service reports. Lavoie said Obama is now allowed to drive from noon until midnight to “accommodate the work schedule set by his employer,’’ Boston.com reports.

Obama has said he would fight efforts to deport him to his native Kenya.
