Pros, Cons of Social Media To Be Discussed

The pos and cons of social media outlets will be discussed from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at a social media forum hosted by Grafton Education Alliance at

The event will feature a panel discussion focusing on the many pros and cons of utilizing social media such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and YouTube. 

The panelists will include Chief Norman Crepeau, Melanie Wexler of JCSI Staffing, Melissa Fischer, MD, Steve Lockney of the YMCA and Neil Spellman, Cyber Security, WPI. 

This forum will be an opportunity for parents and teens to hear about how social media paints a picture of a person and how that information can be interpreted during job search, college applications and other events.

The forum will also be discussing the issues that the local police department faces in regard to social media crimes. This event is free and open to the public.
