Rain Leads to Many Spinouts

State Police urge motorists to drive carefully.

Massachusetts State Police patrols have responded to numerous spin-outs today caused by motorists hitting puddles and slick areas, especially in left lanes of roadways.

State Police urge motorists to drive slowly in rainy conditions and leave extra space between themselves and the vehicle in front of them.

State Police also remind motorists that they are required to keep to the right or center travel lanes, and reserve the left lane only for passing where allowed.
