School starts Thursday, Aug. 18 for all students at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School.
Since 1997, Valley Tech has implemented a longer school calendar year of 193 days. This year, instructional staff returned on Monday, Aug. 15, to prepare for the culmination of the 2011-12 school year.
Incoming freshmen and new students along with their families attended the school’s annual freshmen cookout on Tuesday, Aug. 16. On Wednesday, Aug. 17, freshmen attended a day-long orientation.
